India’s Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD) is set to launch a National Livestock Insurance Portal in New Delhi on September 28, creating a single digital platform for livestock insurance services.
According to the Ministry, the portal will integrate policy issuance, claims processing, monitoring and reporting under the Livestock Insurance Scheme. It will be available in 11 regional languages in addition to Hindi and English.
