Viyash Scientific Completes € 15 Mn BioForLife Acquisition via Alivira Animal Health

MILAN / HYDERABAD — Viyash Scientific Limited, through its animal health subsidiary Alivira Animal Health, has completed its 100% equity acquisition of Milan-based pet care firm BioForLife Italia S.r.l. in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately ₹188 crore (€15 million base consideration).

The completed deal expands Alivira’s global companion animal division by granting immediate commercial distribution across Europe’s fifth-largest animal health market. BioForLife Italia currently maintains established clinical relationships catering to over 80% of all Italian veterinary practices.

Strategic Synergy & Market Expansion

  • European Commercial Foothold: The acquisition transitions Alivira from a predominantly active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) and livestock formulation supplier into a direct provider of specialized companion animal therapeutics and nutraceuticals in Western Europe.

  • Cross-Border Portfolio Pipeline: Viyash plans to leverage Alivira’s in-house active pharmaceutical ingredient development capabilities to scale BioForLife’s proprietary pet formulation portfolio across its global distribution channels in India, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America.
