ECO Animal Health Appoints Senior BioNTech Executive Dr. Didier Branellec to Board

ECO Animal Health Group plc (AIM: EAH) has appointed Dr. Didier Branellec as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective immediately.

Dr. Branellec currently serves as Senior Vice President of Business Alliances at mRNA pioneer BioNTech, where he directs global partnership initiatives and cross-border transactions. He brings over 20 years of international strategy, business development, and commercial deal-making experience spanning the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, animal health, and human healthcare sectors.

Strategic Pipeline Focus

The board appointment coincides with ECO Animal Health’s ongoing effort to expand its self-funded R&D pipeline and commercialize next-generation preventative therapeutics for livestock.

• R&D and Vaccine Expansion: Dr. Branellec’s corporate development background will support the UK-headquartered firm as it advances its biologicals pipeline, including the European commercial rollout of its proprietary poultry vaccine, ECOVAXXIN® MS.

• Global Partnerships: His cross-sector alliance experience is expected to bolster ECO’s international licensing deals and strategic co-development projects across key global markets.
