Australia: PAW Launches “Best Life Ever” Campaign, Pushing Preventive Pet Healthcare

Australian pet-health brand PAW (Pure Animal Wellbeing) has launched its new “Best Life Ever” brand platform, repositioning pet healthcare around proactive, everyday wellbeing rather than waiting for health problems to emerge.

Developed with independent creative agency Princess, the campaign targets a new generation of pet owners and connects preventive care with the everyday activities that define a healthy, active pet. The campaign spans skin, joint and digestive health, supported by PAW’s veterinarian-developed product portfolio.

From treatment to prevention

The strategic significance is the positioning shift.

Rather than beginning with symptoms, illness or treatment, PAW is presenting healthcare as part of the daily pet-care routine. The campaign uses three dogs—Benji, Lola and Ruby—to illustrate active, sometimes chaotic everyday behaviour, with the central message that maintaining health helps pets continue doing the things they enjoy. The campaign will run nationally across paid social, digital video and retail channels.

Analyst view

For the animal-health industry, PAW’s move reflects a broader opportunity to shift pet healthcare from a reactive veterinary-treatment model toward preventive wellness and routine health management.

The commercial implication is significant: preventive positioning can increase the frequency of owner engagement with pet-health products, potentially moving categories such as joint support, digestive health and skin care from occasional problem-solving purchases toward routine consumption.

However, the campaign is a brand-positioning development, not evidence that PAW products prevent or treat specific diseases. Product claims should continue to be assessed separately against veterinary evidence and applicable regulatory requirements.

Bottom line: PAW is positioning preventive pet healthcare as part of everyday ownership, linking veterinary expertise and wellness products to a simple proposition—keeping pets healthy enough to enjoy more of their lives.
