Two Raw Ingredient Sources Upfront: To prevent supply bottlenecks, the FDA will allow companies to list a second approved domestic supplier of active ingredients right in their original application. This eliminates the need for long, multi-month approval delays if a primary supplier faces unexpected production issues.

Equal Access for Generic and New Drugs: The pilot applies to both brand-new veterinary therapies and low-cost generic animal drugs.
