India’s Livestock-Product Exports Rise 44% to US$3.13 Billion in April–August 2026

India’s livestock-product exports reached approximately US$3.13 billion between April and August 2026, representing a 44% year-on-year increase, according to trade data reported by Asian Agribiz.

August alone contributed approximately US$694 million, up more than 37% year-on-year. Official APEDA data show India’s FY2025–26 animal-product exports at approximately US$6.24 billion, with buffalo meat accounting for approximately US$5.10 billion and poultry products contributing approximately US$318 million.
