Virbac Thailand Marks 30 Years; Reinforces Southeast Asia Strategy

Virbac is celebrating 30 years of Virbac Thailand, established in Bangkok in 1996, highlighting the subsidiary’s role in the group’s Southeast Asian expansion. The milestone underscores Virbac’s long-term commitment to companion-animal, swine, poultry, and aquaculture health in the region, supported by local partnerships and regional R&D.

Virbac Thailand has grown alongside the company’s broader international strategy, which includes a new petfood production site in Nîmes (France), a companion-animal vaccine center of excellence in Carros, and a global digital transformation program (Odyssey).

The anniversary also coincides with Virbac’s recognition as a “2026 Industry ESG Leader” by Morningstar Sustainalytics, placing it among top performers in the animal-health sector for managing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks.

Virbac’s Southeast Asia footprint is viewed as a strategic platform for regional product launches, technical training, and collaboration with local veterinarians and producers, aligning with the group’s vision of sustainable, science-led animal health.
